Privacy Policy

NO AGI provides a public community without user accounts. We do not ask for names or email addresses. We process contributions and limited information needed to operate the board. This policy explains what is public, spam prevention, retention, and deletion.

Effective: October 1, 2026

Information we collect directly

You can use the community without an account. Topic titles, categories, messages, comments, optional nicknames, and creation/edit times are stored and publicly visible. An empty nickname is displayed as Anonymous. We do not ask for names, email addresses, or telephone numbers. Do not include your own or another person’s personal information in a contribution.

Passwords, spam prevention, and reports

Edit/delete passwords are stored as scrypt hashes with random salts. Plaintext passwords are not stored, and password recovery is unavailable. Do not reuse a password from another service.

To enforce posting intervals and quotas, the server derives a keyed identifier from the IP address it processes. The community database does not store raw IP addresses. Rate-limit records in the active database containing this identifier are removed by scheduled cleanup after 24 hours. IPv6 addresses within the same network range share a limit. These records are used only for spam prevention.

Repeated-content hashes and used submission-verification tokens are retained for up to one hour and then removed by cleanup, which runs every minute. Reports store the target contribution, reason, submission time, and spam-prevention identifier. The identifier is cleared after 24 hours. Resolved reports are deleted once 30 days have passed since submission; pending reports remain until reviewed.

Contribution retention, deletion, and backups

Topics and comments are retained until their author or a moderator deletes them. Hidden contributions are visible only to moderators. Deletion clears the content, nickname, and password hash from the active database and removes related reports. Deleting a topic also deletes its comments.

The database is backed up daily for recovery. Backups older than 14 days are removed by the next backup job. Deleted content may remain in backups for up to 15 days. Rate-limit records, repeated-content hashes, used verification tokens, and reporter identifiers are removed from backups. Backups are stored outside public web directories and restricted to the operator. When restoring a backup, deletion requests made since that backup must be reviewed and reapplied.

Settings stored in your browser

Your theme choice is kept in local storage, while the expanded-map state is kept in session storage. These values are used only to preserve interface state on your device and are not sent to the NO AGI server. You can remove them at any time through your browser's site-data controls.

Technical information used to deliver the site

We use Cloudflare to deliver and secure the site. When a request passes through Cloudflare's network, it may process the IP address, requested URL, HTTP headers describing the browser and operating system, and traffic-routing or security information. Processing locations and retention periods depend on the Cloudflare services and settings that apply.

NO AGI does not use separate visitor-analytics or advertising-tracking scripts, and the web server is not configured to keep a separate visitor access log. Webfonts are served directly by this site, so visiting it does not send font requests to Google Fonts.

Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Cookies and retention

NO AGI does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies that are strictly necessary when a security feature is activated. The community does not use login cookies. Submission-verification tokens are temporarily held in the open page’s memory. Browser settings remain until you remove them or, for session storage, until the session ends.

Questions and changes

You can edit or delete your contributions with their edit/delete password. If personal information is exposed, or you have forgotten the password and cannot delete a contribution yourself, use its Report action and select Personal information. A moderator will review the request. Do not post contact details or further personal information in a public topic.

We will update this policy to reflect any changes to site features or external service providers.
